Southern Fried Delights: A Taste of Texas Chicken in Thailand

Did you know that the famous American chain of fast food restaurants, Church's Chicken, trades as Texas Chicken outside North America? Recently, I visited Texas Chicken in Thailand for the first time and tried their drive-thru service. Here's my review!

What is Texas Chicken?

Texas Chicken is the international name for Church's Chicken, and it's just as delicious as its North American counterpart. With a simpler name to pronounce, Texas Chicken has been making a splash in Thailand, offering mouth-watering fried chicken and a variety of unique menu items.

Where else can you get fried chicken in Thailand?

Both McDonald's and KFC have long been popular in Thailand, but Texas Chicken is quickly becoming a fan favorite. Compared to KFC, it offers a more flavorful and satisfying experience at a similar price point.

What's special about Texas Chicken?

Texas Chicken has some unique menu items that you won't find anywhere else, like honey-butter biscuits, chicken tenders, chicken wraps, and ice cream shortcakes. They also frequently introduce new and innovative flavors, such as paprika-flavored chicken and their recent "8 Pepper" chicken promotion.

What's good at Texas Chicken?

This was my first time ordering at a drive thru. The set I got was called a 'Sampler Set'. It had two chicken tenders, one piece chicken, a honey-butter biscuit, fries and a drink. Sadly, this set is no longer available but all the individual items are.
